This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.”

“Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”

You have turned my mourning into dancing; you have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, so that my soul may praise you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

This day is holy to our LORD; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
