Confusion: Day 7

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love.

Thought

God is with you in the confusion of your sorrow. Rely on God’s might to save you unto life—your life. God takes delight in you, especially when you entrust your sorrow to God’s transformative power. This day put aside confusion. Today you are not overwhelmed or perplexed. Today you are at rest. Expect God to quiet you with unfailing love.

Prayer

God, amid the confusion, whirlwind, and storm in my soul, I need to rest. Refresh me, I pray. Quiet me with your love. Amen.

Assurance

God knows my inner tumult and quiets me with unfailing love.
