I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18 NRSV

Thought

The suffering you are enduring in the present needs the foundation of the past as well as the view to the future in order for you to move ahead on the journey through grief. You cherish the unforgettable, you build on the past, you hold on to all that gives value and worth to life, conformed to the reality of the present. Slowly you realize that it is possible to let go of the past and be fully in the present in one seamless emotional stand.

Prayer

God, as I release my hold on the past, the vista of the present is now more visible. I trust in the glory of the future in you. Amen.

Assurance

What God wants is more than I can imagine.
