You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. Psalm 139:2 NRSV

Thought

Your thoughts determine who you are and how you live. Grief encourages a kind of conscious hyper vigilance of the mind. When you deconstruct your subconscious walls of self-protection and live again in open, free exchange with others and the world, you arrive at acceptance.

Prayer

God, it inspires my mind and my faith to think that you know when I sit down and when I rise up. May my thoughts be pleasing in your sight from far away and within my soul. Amen.

Assurance

Today I direct my thoughts toward the power of God’s presence at work in my life.
