Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is so high that I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:6 NRSV
On the way to acceptance, you pause perhaps for a moment to take a final backward glance. You remember how the dark sadness and sorrow of compelling grief once held you captive. On the upward side of grief, you at last see clearly where you have been and what you have been through. You are able to accept the death of your loved one because you have traveled the lonely, deserted road of the heart that is grief.
God, you have taught me new, unimagined things about life and living through the experience of death and grief. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. I am grateful for your loving kindness. Amen.
My life ahead waits only on acceptance.
