For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. Psalm 116:8 NRSV

Thought

Though perhaps it seemed so at the time, you did not die physically when your loved one died. Your purpose and destiny did not die with the one who is gone. In acceptance you reanimate to life. Acceptance redefines your self-perception as you go into the world alone. You live boldly in affirmation of life as it is, full of possibility and promise.

Prayer

God, you have delivered my soul from death. On the long journey through grief you have kept my feet from stumbling. I am grateful for life. Amen.

Assurance

My tears celebrate love.
