He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 NRSV

Thought

Healing and wholeness are for those willing to be vulnerable enough to be made strong. The question of hope is whether you will entertain the possibility of being healed from grief or will prefer to live with a permanently broken heart. You may ask, “Is there healing from grief?” Perhaps you wonder how long it will take you to heal from grief—or even if you will heal. There is healing from grief.

Prayer

God, I hope in the assurance that you are healing my broken heart. You bind up my wounds with your love and grace. May I hope in you. Amen.

Assurance

I imagine myself healed from grief.
