My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast, and my mouth praises you with joyful lips... for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I sing for joy. Psalm 63:5, 7 NRSV

Thought

At last you take your place again at the rich feast of life. In thanksgiving, you rejoice because grief finds no place at your table and does not intrude on the meal. You eat with spiritual abandon of the goodness of life. You are content with the menu. You enjoy and are satisfied. You sing and make music. You are alive.

Prayer

God, on this day of rest my soul is content with the feast of your love. You have been my help. May I abide forever in the shadow of your wings. Amen.

Assurance

I am grateful to God for life.
