Prayer: Day 7

“Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.”

Thought

God knows what you need before you pray. God asks only that you lift your broken heart in prayer that is soul-searching and introspective; in prayer that allows listening and meditation; in prayer that is possible only within the silence of the heart; in prayer for divine wisdom and insight.

Prayer

God, on this day of rest my heart and mind are attuned to you. I ask in faith for your soul-sustaining grace, knowing that it is mine to receive. Amen.

Assurance

God listens; I know that God is always there for me.
