Forgiving Others: Day 5
“And forgive us our debts,
“as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

Thought
A debt can be a serious burden, whether financial, physical, or emotional. A debt causes strain on your resources; it creates both internal and external pressure. The obligation of debt carries over into all aspects of life. The relief when a debt is paid or even better, forgiven, is indescribable. This is the rush of spiritual freedom at the heart of forgiveness for others.
Prayer
God, forgiveness of others is an obligation of your forgiveness. May I offer forgiveness freely to others, even as I am freely forgiven by you. Amen.

Indebtedness is released through forgiveness.
