The living presence of God within you is the force of your spirit when you love others. It is the reservoir of all love. The perfection of love is predicated on loving others as much or even more than yourself. “[L]ove your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18 NIV). The biblical admonition is to “go on toward perfection” (Hebrews 6:1 NRSV). When God lives in you, God lives through you. You see God’s love at work when you live in God’s Spirit.
