I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like me,
declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, “My purpose shall stand,
and I will fulfill my intention”...
I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass;
I have planned, and I will do it.

Thought
The power of historical perspective in the infinite nature of God inspires trust, especially in grief. God proves in the order of the universe alone that God’s plan is intentional. God is neither haphazard nor random in the design and purpose for all of life, most especially for your life. There is no other God; there is no one like God. God alone knows the beginning and end and the unique plan for you. Does the experience of death and grief inspire your trust in God?
Prayer
God, I am in awe of your powerful plan for all of life forever. I believe that you will fulfill your intention for my life and that you have a plan that will be done. Amen.
