Loneliness: Day 7

“I will never leave you or forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5 NRSV

Thought

The effect of loneliness is the feeling of having been forsaken. The one you grieve left you physically, yet the spirit of that person’s life and love remains with you always. Rest today from your loneliness. Extend your heart to peace and oneness within yourself.

Prayer

God, thank you for the promise that you will never leave me or forsake me. Your presence with me this day is rest for my soul. Amen.

In my loneliness I am aware of the loving presence of God.
