Physical: Day 2

Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
Psalm 116:2 NRSV

Thought

In grief you listen intently to yourself and to God with the ear of your mind and inmost soul. Acceptance depends on how intently you listen to what grief has to say to you. Grace, courage, and wisdom are the hallmarks of acceptance. These are among the divine endowments of grief that grow your faith and accompany you into the life that yet lies ahead.

Prayer

God, you have inclined your ear to me and heard the prayers of my grief. May I call on you for as long as I live. Amen.

Assurance

I accept the promise that there is life beyond grief because I know that there is life beyond death.
