Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful ones.

Thought

On this day of rest for your soul from grief, take comfort in the beautiful words of the psalmist. Death is more than the order of life in the sight of God. God loves and cares for all God’s faithful ones in this life and in life eternal. God cares for you.

Prayer

God, I rest my soul in you today in the victory of acceptance. Thank you for the assurance that my loved one is with you, precious in your sight. Amen.

Assurance

In acceptance I am restored and made whole again.
