Grief is, indeed, suffering. Although it may be always difficult to reconcile death with God’s will, from the perspective of mature grief you appreciate God’s faithfulness to you throughout the physical, emotional, and spiritual trials of loss and pain. Entrusting is an investment of your personal capital. Like all investments, there is some risk. Yet there is no better trustee than God, your faithful Creator.
